On Friday, July 31, 2020, I hosted a small, comfortable, and safely seated outdoor garden tea and wine party/chapter one reading of Isabella’s Gate in Corktown, the heart of Detroit, Michigan. Due to COVID all of my big events were (temporarily) canceled, so I wanted to come up with safe ideas to thank my Kickstarter.
The reading was accompanied by an unplanned and unexpected interpretative performance by my granddaughter, Veda. I had intended to hold up props during the reading. Four-year-old Veda stepped in and stole the show. It’s a long video – but I guarantee her performance will make you smile!
